NBA: Bill Russell of the Boston Celtics passed away
At the age of 88 (1934-2022), he’s been remembered tonight also as a champion of Civil Rights in the United States, along with Martin Luther Kings Jr, Malcom X, Mohamed Ali (then called Cassius Clay) and other national figures. He used his position to move forward the entire american society. President Obama rewarded him of the Presidential medal of Freedom: « he’s been a Champion for All ».
