Trump doubles National Guard troops in LA | Gaza activists detained in Israel
US President Donald Trump has authorised the deployment of another 2,000 troops from the National Guard to Los Angeles, as the city is engulfed in a fourth day of anti-ICE demonstrations. They’ll join the 2,000 National Guard soldiers and 700 Marines already sent there. That’s deepening a row with authorities in California, which is suing the US leader over the controversial move.
